Dawson Drinks: The Earl Woodford Hot Toddy
As part of the Dawson Eats America Presents: Dawson Drinks series, we present to you the next great Autumn recipe that will surely give you the warmth you need as the temperatures, um, fall.
This time, it's our version of the conventional hot toddy, the Earl Woodford Hot Toddy, using Earl Grey tea, local honey, and one of my favorites, Woodford Reserve Bourbon. Take a look at the full recipe below and then bundle up, sip, and relax.
Earl Woodford Hot Toddy
8 oz hot water 1 tea bag, Earl Grey tea 2 oz Woodford Reserve Bourbon 1 tbsp local honey 1 tsp lemon juice 1 lemon slice
Instructions Pour hot water into mug and steep tea for two to three minutes. Remove tea bag and add honey, bourbon, and lemon juice. Stir. Garnish with lemon slice.
